2018 Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition Info

The Continuum of Care (CoC) grant competition provides the largest single funding source for homeless programs. The U.S Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) opened the FY2018 CoC competition on June 20, 2018 – complete competition info available in the CoC Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Orange County had about $754,347 in available funding.

On September 20, 2018, HUD granted Orange County an extension to the FY 2018 COC Competition deadline due to Hurricane Florence -- the completed application is was due on October 1.

Agencies interested in applying for new project funds attended the New CoC Project Info Meeting on Tuesday July 10, 2-3:30pm in the meeting room at OC Animal Services, 1601 Eubanks Rd. in Chapel Hill.
