2019 Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition Info

The Continuum of Care (CoC) grant competition provides the largest single funding source for homeless programs. The U.S Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) opened the FY2019 CoC competition on July 3, 2019 – complete competition info available in the CoC Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Orange County has $784,708 in available funding. Please find local competition info, including funding availability, local project application process and deadlines, and community input requested in the Orange County Local Competition Information & Deadlines document.

OCPEH staff will submit the full and completed FY2019 CoC application (inclusive of the Community Application, Project Priority Listing and all Project Applications) to HUD in advance of the due date of September 30, 2019.

Please provide feedback on the DRAFT Community Application by 12:00 on 9/26/2019 on this spreadsheet.  Please see the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and the Detailed Instructions from HUD below when reviewing.

Agencies interested in applying for any project funds -- new projects or renewal/expansion/consolidated projects -- attended the CoC Project Info Meeting on Monday, July 22, 3:30-5:00pm in the meeting room at Orange County Animal Services, 1601 Eubanks Rd. in Chapel Hill.
